Our story starts with two kids who grew up in the same school district but never had the chance to get to know each other. That all changed in 2016, when Pedro approached Kennedy and they became friends instantly.

In the summer of 2018, we starting dating just as Kennedy was beginning her first semester of college, 2 hours away. Long distance was hard but so worth it.

After only 6 months of dating, we got our first dog, our soul dog, Zeus. Fast forward to 2021, Kennedy graduated college and we moved in together. 3 years of long distance was so worth it for this moment. In 2023, we decided to add to our family and got Willow.

Pedro decided 6 years of dating was long enough, and in February of 2024, he proposed! It is now 2025, we just bought our first home!! We are so excited to continue to grow our family here.

As you can see, we have done a lot of growing and evolving these past 6.5 years. One thing that has never changed is our love for each other. We can't wait to start this new chapter of life as Mr. and Mrs. Leyva.
